Rally Wave made its debut with UPI Marketing at the Sports Licensing & Tailgate Show in Las Vegas ahead of Super Bowl LVIII in January 2024. The innovative new product is the latest craze in fan gear. It’s a one-size fits all wearable rally flag worn as a headband, or as a wristband, that is unwrapped and waved to cheer on your team. 

Rally Wave was derived as an extension of the Hey Wave wristflag product line originally developed for water sports safety and currently sold by accessory partner, Yamaha. Founders Sheila and Jamie Ringenbach designed the new Rally Wave concept for stadiums after receiving multiple requests from Hey Wave customers to personalize the flags with custom graphics and slogans. The patent pending Rally Wave is made of polyester and dye sublimation, making it versatile and customizable with detailed colors and graphics, QR codes and sponsor areas. It also has an optional add on LED light feature illuminating the primary logo. 

The Rally Wave may be used at stadiums, theme parks, charity events, or training camps to capture autographs, collect pins, and hang on display as a pennant. It’s brought into events comfortably worn as a wristband or headband, dangling off a belt loop or purse strap, and it’s guaranteed to not be left behind littering stadiums, a problem with many giveaways. 

Gene Smith, owner of UPI Marketing, Inc and 30 year industry veteran, envisions this as a completely new product category of fan gear. UPI Marketing currently holds NFL licensing for Rally Wave and is pursuing other major licenses, including FIFA World Cup soccer. Although capable of high volume production, minimum order quantities for custom designs are only 1000 units making this product ideal for smaller markets, fundraisers and events, including high schools, parades, campaign rallies, festivals and VIP ticket packages.
